Traveler 5.5K Run & Walk – April 25, 2020

The Pointe at Alderbrook Golf Club, Union, WA.

Health, fitness and well-being is why Hood Canal Events was started, and improving the quality of life in the Pacific Northwest by providing quality events continues to be our goal.

It is definitely a challenging time we are in and it’s with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel the Traveler 5.5K this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

We are hopeful and remain positive that the measures taken today will result in a better 2020 for everyone! The remaining events we have scheduled for the year are still on schedule and we hope that you can come participate and support. Please take the time to view our 2020 events page at hoodcanalevents.com/events and we’ll continue to #BeTheTraveler!

Traveler Virtual 5K Run & Walk – April 25, 2020 thru May 2, 2020

Anywhere in the U.S.A.

Registration for the Traveler Virtual 5K Run & Walk is OPEN NOW. The future of outdoor events continues to evolve and Hood Canal Events is excited to present our 1st virtual 5K race this April 25th – May 2nd, 2020. Wait…. Umm, what is a virtual race? This is a race that can be run or walked from any location in the United States you choose. Yes, it can even be completed from an indoor treadmill in Why Not, North Carolina – this is a real place BTW! The benefit of a virtual race is that you can make a difference by being a part of a larger active community, all while participating on your own terms. The Traveler Virtual 5K Run & Walk will be raising funds to make a contribution to Shelton High School Spring Sports this year – help us create and post banners recognizing Seniors that have missed out on their final spring athletic season. “Will You Go The Distance Too” – check out the race rules below, and let’s all get out for some healthy activity while supporting our community!
